This black and white abstract collage series was created using my own charcoal drawings and sketches as source material. The originals have many many layers, added as each piece evolved into the finished work. Some are obvious subjects, others have hidden faces and features to be discovered.
You'll find many have a collaged white oval or circle as a border. These pieces are like portals - you are looking through a window of sorts and there is something on the other side, in another realm, you have the opportunity to view.
